These DIY Fall Mason Jars are a great way to bring the season into your home. You can really have fun with this craft and make it as personal as you wish!
Fall is approaching and it is time decorate and make our homes festive for the new season. I know a lot of us are excited, well I know I am. I am over the heat! Give me some hoodie weather already.
Fall is exciting for many reasons. You have the wonderful weather, kids heading back to school, the fun colors, and everything is pumpkin flavored. Since Fall is almost here I wanted to have a little fun with a fall craft!!

DIY Fall Mason Jars
Mason Jars are fun and can be used for many many different things. I love including them in my crafts as they are so easy to do and they make for awesome decorations.
With the mason jars, and other materials in this craft, you can buy in bulk to save money. The tea light candles, for example, you can get 100 for a very low price.
Find other ways to use the candles, jars, and other materials so you can really get your money’s worth.

I also want to mention that these Fall mason jars can be decorated however you wish. I did leaves on the side of all of mine, but you could mix it up with an outline of a scarecrow or squash. Or maybe turn this into a pumpkin craft?
You could even do some Halloween-specific decorations with a bat, witch, or Frankenstein! The point is simply to have fun.

DIY Fall Mason Jars
Cute Fall mason jars that make a nice centerpiece or decor for any room in your home!
Materials
- Mason Jars
- Paint
- Sponge Brush
- Rocks
- Tealights
- Vinyl Decal
Instructions
Clean the mason jar.
Apply decal as you like. I chose to go simply and add one large leaf shape in the front on my jars.
Begin to paint. Give your first coat some time to dry before applying the second coat. I am no pro but I made the booboo of not waiting longer. =| lol
Have fun and do more jars and more colors!!! Haha. It’s fall, you have some great color choices to go with here. =P
Once your paint has dried, peel of your vinyl decal. This creates a nice opening for the next step. — If you don’t want to do a big leaf, try a bunch of small ones. I think that would look awesome!
Add your tea lights and rocks inside of your jar. My craft store was out of smaller rocks so I had to go with these ones but I pretty pleased with them, plus I love their colors!
